DAY 1 : UK - Halifax.

Fly to Halifax where on arrival transfer to your hotel. This evening meet your travelling companions and Tour Director for a welcome drink.

DAY 2 : Halifax - Peggy's Cove & Lunenburg - Halifax.

This morning, visit Peggy's Cove, one of Canada's most charming fishing villages. Enjoy a traditional Nova Scotia breakfast, where you can choose local specialities like fish cakes. The lighthouse is a spectacular sight in a wonderfully picturesque setting. Continue to Lunenburg a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be free time to explore the quaint main street, shop or perhaps visit the Fisheries Museum. The rest of the day is at leisure. Includes Breakfast

DAY 3 : Halifax - Moncton.

This morning, enjoy an orientation of Halifax, including the public gardens and harbour area. Arrive at Sugar Moon Farm to enjoy a Maritime sugar camp lunch, along with a guided tour and traditional sugar camp treat. Arrive in Moncton this evening, originally founded by a group of Acadians and then Pennsylvania Dutch immigrants from Philadelphia. The evening is at leisure. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 4 : Moncton - Hopewell Rocks - Charlottetown.

Today, travel to Hopewell Rocks and learn about the highest and wildest tides in the world, which rise and fall up to 52 ft. The elements have carved from the cliffs and coves distinctive sandstone formations topped with trees. Many of the formations have names inspired by their appearance. Visit Cape Jourimain to learn more about the region's wildlife. Drive across the 8 miles long Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island. Tonight, enjoy a Lobster Supper at a local restaurant. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 5 : Charlottetown.

This morning, a guided tour of the island includes a drive to the fishing port of North Rustico Harbour to the sand dunes and lovely beaches of the Prince Edward Island National Park, along with a visit to Green Gables farmhouse. Later lunch will be at Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, to be treated to a traditional Ceilidh - a folk music party. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore independently. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 6 : Charlottetown - Ceilidh Trail - Baddeck.

Today, board a ferry across the Northumberland Strait to Pictou, known as the 'Birthplace of New Scotland'. It was there the first boatload of Scottish Highlanders landed in Nova Scotia in 1773. Continue along Ceilidh Trail, where Scottish traditions and Gaelic folklore come alive. Visit Glenora Distillery for a tour and a tasting of North America's first distillery of single malt whisky. Later arrive in Baddeck for two nights. Includes Breakfast

DAY 7 : Baddeck - Cape Breton Highlands National Park - Baddeck.

Enjoy a visit to the Alexander Graham Bell museum, where exhibits trace the achievements of the great inventor who spent his last years on Cape Breton. Afterwards, travel the Cabot Trail, considered one of the most scenic drives in the world. Proceed along the coast, admiring the magnificent vistas of the rocky shoreline and the Gulf of St Lawrence. Enter Cape Breton Highlands National Park, a landscape that resembles Scottish coastal regions. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 8 : Baddeck - Jeddore Oyster Pond - Halifax.

Cross over the Canso Causeway, stop at the Fisherman's Life Museum in Jeddore Oyster Pond. The museum showcases a typical Nova Scotia fisherman's house from the early 1900s. Later arrive in Halifax, where you will join your Tour Director for a farewell dinner. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 9 : Halifax - UK.

Transfer to the airport for your return to the UK or extend your stay in Montreal travelling overnight on VIA Rail. Includes Breakfast

DAY 10 : Home landing in the UK.
