DAY 2: Prague.

The Czech capital is nicknamed the 'City of a Hundred Spires' for its world famous skyline - a spectacular reminder of its glorious Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architecture. This morning brings a chance to explore this captivating city on an optional tour. Strolling through the city with your guide, admire many of its highlights, including the statue-lined Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and Wenceslas Square. You will also see the celebrated Astronomical Clock, which looms over Old Town Square and marks time with clockwork parades of mechanical figures. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 3: Prague - Litomerice

Take in the beautiful landscape as you cruise from Prague today. On arrival in Litomerice, perhaps join the optional city tour to discover one of the oldest Bohemian cities established in the 10th century on the site of a Slavic fort. The multi-coloured Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance buildings in the city centre are not to be missed. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 4: Dresden.

Admire the beautiful views this morning as we cruise through the magnificent Saxon Switzerland area (which really is a part of Germany) gliding by the prairies, woods, lakes, vineyards and chateaux. We’ll stop in Bad Schandau and leave on an optional excursion to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We’ll discover the Königstein Fortress, overlooking the Elbe and one of the largest hilltop fortresses in Europe. Thought to have been built in the 13th century, it was for centuries used as a state prison. We’ll then stop at the Bastei rock formation towering above the Elbe and formed by water erosion over one million years ago. We’ll return on board and continue our cruise, reaching Dresden in the evening. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 5: Dresden - Meissen.

Known as the 'Florence of the Elbe', a relatively recent city with Slavic origin, Dresden became the capital of the Margravate of Meissen in the 13th century and the seat of the Dukes of Saxony in the 15th century. Its breath taking architectural and artistic heritage makes it one of the most important tourist destinations in Germany. Enjoy an optional city tour before we cruise towards Meissen. Once we arrive in Meissen, there'll be an optional guided tour of the city, famous for its trademark porcelain. Discover how the porcelain has been made for more than 300 years and admire the magnificent pieces displayed in the museum. We’ll then head for the city centre to see the outside of the Albrechtsburg and the cathedral. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 6: Lutherstadt Wittenberg - Magdeburg.

Today, perhaps join the optional guided tour of the city where Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of a church and sparked the Reformation. You'll discover the city centre and its noble Renaissance-style houses. We'll also visit Luther's house, a former Augustinian monastery which is now the Reformation Museum and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll spend the afternoon cruising to our next destination. Tonight will be the CroisiEurope Quiz Night. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 7: Hohenwarthe - Magdeburg.

Leave for Hohenwarthe early this morning. On arrival, perhaps join the optional tour of Magdeburg, situated midway on the Elbe River and also on the historic Roman Roads. One of Europe's most powerful medieval cities, Magdeburg was the seat of Emperor Otto I, the first Holy Roman Emperor. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
