DAY 1 : UK - Anchorage.

Fly to Anchorage where on arrival transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2 : Anchorage - Valdez.

Meet your fellow travelling companions at this morning's Welcome Orientation. Travel through Palmer in the Matanuska Valley, there cabbages can grow to an amazing 70lbs in the 24 hour daylight. Continue over Tahneta Pass for amazing vistas of Matanuska and Worthington Glaciers. Stop at Bridal Veil Falls before arriving in the seaside port of Valdez often referred to as the 'Switzerland of the Alaska'. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 3 : Valdez - Cruise on Prince William Sound.

This morning, board a sightseeing cruise on Prince William Sound and along the 3 mile face of Columbia Glacier. Keep a keen eye out for wildlife including seals, sea otters, birds and even whales. Later, return to Valdez and see the Trans-Alaska Pipeline Terminal, where supertankers are loaded with crude oil from Prudhoe Bay. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 4 : Valdez - Delta Junction - Fairbanks.

Enjoy some jaw dropping scenery all the way along Richardson Highway. Stop at Delta Junction, a living history homestead with a museum, original roadhouse and farm animals. Then, head west on the Alaska Highway to Fairbanks, Alaska's second biggest city. Includes Breakfast

DAY 5 : Fairbanks.

Today, visit Gold Dredge#8 and ride the narrow gauge railroad. Then there is the opportunity to pan for Gold. Later, board the sternwheeler Discovery for a cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers, with a stop at the Chena Indian Village to learn about Athasbascan Native culture. There will be the chance to meet Iditarod mushers and their fames dog teams to learn about breeding, training and the big sled race held annually over 1,049 miles across Alaska. This evening enjoy a special Alaska salmon bake. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 6 : Fairbanks - Alaska Railroad - Denali National Park.

This morning, board the world famous Alaska Railroad for a journey through untamed wilderness. The end of the line is Denali National Park, where North America's highest peak Mount Denali (formerly Mount Whitney) 20,320 ft majestically dominates the park's 6 million acres. The afternoon is free to enjoy the scenery and the park's trails. This evening, enjoy dinner at the Murie Sceince & Learning Centre followed by an exclusive presentation on Denali National Park by a local Naturalist. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 7 : Denali National Park.

The morning is free so why not join an optional excursion that includes a float trip down the Nenana River and a helicopter ride over the park. Later, dress comfortably for a Wilderness Expedition into Denali National Park to see out grizzly bear, caribou, moose and other local wildlife. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 8 : Denali National Park - Big Lake - Anchorage.

Continue exploring Denali National Park heading south towards Anchorage. There is a stop along the way at Happy Trail Kennels, home of four time Iditarod Champion Martin Buser and his dogs. There will be a demonstration of mushing, complete with a mock Iditarod checkpoint and get a chance to play with the sled dogs. On arrival in Anchorage, enjoy a tour of the Alaska Native Heritage Centre. Later the Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner. Over dessert enjoy a storytelling presentation. DAY 9 : Seward to embark.

Today, transfer to the cruise port in Seward to embark your ship for your seven night Alaska cruise. Includes Dinner

DAY 10 : At sea.

A relaxing day at sea provides time to explore the ship's many amenities. Animal and marine life are abundant in this area and with a little luck you may spot a pod of mighty Orcas. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 11 : Glacier Bay.

Cruise into spectacular Glacier Bay early this morning. Forests give way to a rugged landscape rising to rocky peaks. Sixteen huge mountains converge to create an awe-inspiring panoramic wonder, a spectacular scene of awesome glaciers and massive icebergs. Wildlife is abundant, and you may spot eagles, seals, mountain goats, moose and bears in their natural habitat. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 12 : Haines (for Skagway).

Nestled on the shores of America's longest fjord, Haines is in a spectacular setting. You may wish to fill your day with a raft trip through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve which protects the habitat of the nation's avian symbol, or visit the old fashioned weathered boardwalks and old-time saloons of Skagway. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 13 : Juneau.

The city has a Gold Rush story to rival that of Klondike, and is only accessible by seaplane or boat. An optional wildlife cruise and salmon fishing will normally be available, and you'll also have the opportunity to take an optional excursion to Juneau's own glacier, Mendenhall. This impressive river of blue ice is about 1.5 miles wide and over 12 miles long. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 14 : Ketchikan.

Colourful Ketchikan is situated on Revillagigedo Island and is known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World'. Here, a picturesque harbour shelters fishing boats and seaplanes. A wide choice of optional excursions will be available, including an outing to see Indian Heritage Villages, Totem Bight State Park and 'flightseeing' to Misty Fjords National Monument. DAY 15 : Inside Passage Cruising.

The beauty of the Inside Passage will amaze you as you cruise through 1,000 miles of epic scenery, towering glaciated mountains, roaring waterfalls, endless islands and virgin forests. DAY 16 : Vancouver - UK.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. Includes Breakfast
