DAY 1 : Depart UK.

DAY 2 : In flight.

DAY 3 : Arrive Melbourne.

On arrival in Melbourne you will be met by your representative and transferred to your hotel for three nights. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

DAY 4 : Melbourne.

Lively and cosmopolitan Melbourne is the second largest city in Australia and the capital of Victoria. Your morning city tour will explore key cultural highlights, including Flinders Street railway station, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Fitzroy Gardens, Captain Cook’s Cottage, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.

DAY 5 : Melbourne.

Enjoy another full day to relax and explore.

DAY 6 : Melbourne - Alice Springs.

A morning flight will take you to Alice Springs. Enjoy an afternoon tour of this unique outback town with a visit to the Old Telegraph Station, the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service (subject to opening times).

DAY 7 : Alice Springs - Uluru.

After breakfast, leave Alice Springs for Australia's mythical rock formation, Uluru. Make a stop at Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), a group of spectacular rock domes located Southwest of Alice Springs. Later, travel to Sunset Strip where you will enjoy champagne and canapés as you admire Uluru at sunset.

DAY 8 : Uluru - Cairns.

This morning, enjoy a tour around the base of Uluru where you can get a closer look at the caves, water holes and ancient rock paintings that make this sacred area so spectacular. In the afternoon, fly to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Australia's tropical rainforests.

DAY 9 : Cairns - Great Barrier Reef.

The world's largest coral reef, made up of over 3,000 individual reefs, is one of our planet's most amazing natural wonders. Enjoy a catamaran cruise to Green Island, a 6,000 year-old coral cay, where there are opportunities for you to stroll through rainforest, laze on white coral sands, swim and snorkel. You may wish to take a ride on a glass bottom boat to see some of the world's most colourful coral and marine life. Includes Lunch

DAY 10 : Cairns.

Set among lush rainforests, soaring peaks and the ocean, Cairns is one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations. It has many attractions including a scenic railway which runs to the picturesque market town of Kuranda and a cable car that glides over Australia's World Heritage-listed tropical rainforest canopy. Today is yours to relax or explore.

DAY 11 : Cairns - Sydney.

Fly to Sydney where you will spend the next three nights.

DAY 12 : Sydney.

Sydney is Australia's oldest and largest city, home to the instantly recognisable Sydney Harbour Bridge and world-famous Sydney Opera House. This morning your sightseeing tour will take you through the commercial and shopping heart of the city. Learn about the first interaction between European settlers and Aborigines before ending the day with a cruise along Sydney Harbour, where you will enjoy uninterrupted views of the city skyline.

DAY 13 : Sydney.

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore this fascinating city at your own pace. Perhaps join an optional tour to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

DAY 14 : Sydney to embark.

Today, transfer to the cruise port to embark your cruise ship for your 13-night New Zealand cruise.Includes Dinner

DAY 15 to 16 : At sea.

DAY 17 : Fiordland National Park.

At the heart of Fiordland National Park lies the stunning natural attraction, Milford Sound. Cruise to this spectacular fiord, bound by dense rainforest and steep cliffs that soar dramatically out from the water’s surface. If you’re lucky to experience this area in the rain, you will see the number of waterfalls multiply. Look out for wildlife as you survey the area. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 18 : Port Chambers (for Dunedin).

Disembark the cruise ship at Port Chalmers and transfer to Dunedin. Known as the 'Edinburgh of the South' because of its strong Scottish connections, Dunedin has preserved many of its grand Victorian and turn-of-the-century buildings. Spend the day exploring the area. Perhaps pay a visit to the 1906 Flemish Renaissance railway station or New Zealand’s oldest university. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 19 : Akaroa.

Today you have the opportunity to explore Akaroa. Situated on the eastern shores of New Zealand's South Island, Akaroa is a popular tourist destination with a distinctly French flair. DAY 20 : Wellington.

Arrive in New Zealand's small but bustling capital city, Wellington. Nestled between rolling hills and a stunning harbour, Wellington has a vibrant and compact downtown area that's best explored on foot. DAY 21 : Napier.

Today you have the opportunity to explore Napier, one of New Zealand’s most attractive cities. After being destroyed by an earthquake in 1931, this coastal area was completely rebuilt in art-deco style. Get your bearings on a walk along Marine Parade, the attractive waterfront promenade lined with parks, gardens and memorials. DAY 22 : Tauranga.

Continue your journey to the coastal city of Tauranga, situated on New Zealand’s North Island. With its golden beaches and well-kept parks, Tauranga is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities. Situated between the mighty Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea, Auckland’s waterside location has earned it the nickname ‘The City of Sails'. Discover the city at your own pace today. DAY 24 : Bay of Islands.

Consisting of more than 140 subtropical islands, the stunning Bay of Islands enclave is located next to New Zealand's North Island.
